The General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, pastor Joshua Iginla, has opened up on his encounter with the late televangelist, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua after he told him about his death with a vision he had received.

Iginla described the late Joshua as an ambassador of love to the less privileged who was a blessing to the body of Christ.

Iginla noted that he had “a vision in 2015, 2016 and 2018 that a great man of God is quitting the scene, it was T.B Joshua.”

According to him, he reached out to the man of God to inform him about his death and T.B Joshua replied him and said : “Thank You, my brother. If it’s his wish to keep me, he will keep me.

“There is nothing I am afraid of anymore. I think I have done the work the Lord sent me. I will always take a bow to the sovereignty of God”.

Recall Iginla recently attacked pastors for not helping their fellow pastors enough but condemn other pastors and support herbalists.

He said: “A lot of believers in this end-time are thinking of wealth acquisition, money, we are egocentric, we have become the world, and the world is becoming the church, there is a lot of misnomer because the church has lost her place.

“One of the most powerful mandate is not about big church, it is about taking the gospel to the world, especially rural evangelism, I started my ministry from there, you will be surprised there are villages people have not heard of the gospel of Christ, we need to redeem the time for the coming of the master, the problem is that we are condemning one another.

Meanwhile, Barrister Evelyn Joshua, the wife of the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua, has reacted about the death of her husband.

TB Joshua passed away on Saturday night, few hours after hosting a church programme.

His wife, Evelyn, writing on Twitter, expressed deep emotions over the loss of her husband.

In a tweet on her official Twitter handle, @Mama_Evelyn, pointed out the importance of fellowshipping with God always, stating that only the supreme God can “lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times”.

She said, “Losing a loved one is never easy; whether sudden or foreseen. It is always heart-breaking.

“Grief can wreak havoc on our overall well-being. That’s why it’s important to stay rooted in the Almighty.

“Only He can lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times. Seek refuge in him.”

About a week ago, Evelyn had taken to her Twitter page to write, “Faith is trusting and believing that the Almighty has your back no matter what you’re going through. Even when you can’t comprehend what’s going on, you trust Him. You know He will get you out of unfavourable situations. Best motto to live by; do your best, leave the rest to Him!”

Last year, Joshua said he does not put his wife on the spotlight because only God could do so.

“I would have loved my wife to be like me but I cannot make her what I am; it is God. I can’t anoint her; God is the one that anoints people,” he said, adding, “So, it is so difficult for me to display my wife, she has to be ready for God. As much as you are ready for God, God will display you.”

The couple wedded in 1990 and have three daughters together.
